The annual U.N. Climate Change Conference, or COP26, was held in Glasgow, Scotland from October 31st to November 12th, 2021. This 26th edition culminated with The “Glasgow Climate Pact” which galvanized global efforts behind 1.5°C, namely a 45% reduction in global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030, as a response to the existential threat of climate change.
