Salary Range: $80-100K salary + discretionary bonus Commensurate with experience

This is an in-person role in our office in midtown Manhattan.

Role

The Closed Loop Ventures Group is looking for an Analyst to join the ventures team to support the deal process including origination, due diligence through post-investment portfolio management, and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage hundreds of emails weekly containing pitch documentation from companies looking for funding
• Analyze pitch decks and efficiently and accurately summarize information and develop tools to most efficiently process data (AI knowledge)
• Manage internal database of new and prospective investment opportunities
• Analyze investment opportunities including market landscape mapping, industry research, financial modeling, impact analysis
• Maintain datasets of portfolio company performance and impact measurement
• Support general fund management processes

Qualifications

• You are insatiably curious. Given the opportunity, you would sit and read articles and books on practically any topic, and dive deep.
• You can make information highly digestible. You must be excellent at taking in high volumes of complex information and distilling it into key takeaways. Alternatively, you know how to build tools to do this work for you.
• You are data-oriented and consider categorization and data cleaning to be relaxing.
• You have demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship.
• You have developed an independent perspective on the circular economy.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience
• Undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic excellence, fortitude, and bias to action
