About this Role

Sturgeon Capital is seeking a highly motivated intern for its Impact Investing Summer Internship. This role is tailored for individuals passionate about contributing to social inclusion and economic prosperity in emerging markets. The internship is focused on supporting portfolio companies in enhancing their impact measurement and management systems. Interns will collaborate with Sturgeon’s investment and impact teams on projects that include creating theories of change, designing customer surveys, and developing impact communication strategies. The role provides a unique opportunity to work directly with visionary founders and gain hands-on experience in the impact investing sector.

Responsibilities

• Participate in regular meetings with the impact team and selected portfolio companies.
• Assess current IMM efforts and develop tailored workplans.
• Research industry trends to understand company impacts and risks.
• Contribute to developing impact frameworks and select key metrics.
• Create materials to effectively communicate impact stories.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping for partnership opportunities.
• Support additional initiatives as needed.
