Job Description:
The Investment Officer/Manager in Renewables will join the dynamic Renewables team at Finance in Motion, based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The role focuses on originating, analyzing, and managing investments in the renewable energy sector to drive impactful projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, ensuring the alignment of investments with the company’s mission and objectives. As an Investment Officer/Manager, you will predominantly focus on renewables projects but will also contribute to broader organizational goals by leveraging your expertise in finance and sustainability. The role demands a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and a keen understanding of the renewable energy market. You will be responsible for conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and presenting investment cases to the internal committees. Responsibilities:
• Originate and evaluate investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements:
• University degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector or impact investing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting due diligence for investment projects.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
