We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing EPC team. In this role, you will support the estimating and procurement process to help ensure timely acquisition of materials and accurate cost estimation of projects. This role will primarily act in the day-to-day operations of procurement and can include more in depth estimating and forecasting depending on the applicant’s interest. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart and/or rapidly grow a career in the solar industry.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Assist with delivery and storage logistics
  • Work with construction project managers to help meet any immediate needs on projects that may arise
  • Facilitate engineering review of quotes and approval drawings, and act as communication liaison between engineering and outside parties
  • Assist in adapting early to mid-stage estimation efforts according to changing project requirements
  • Collaborate with the Director of Estimation and Procurement on current market trends to inform estimating and forecasting efforts
  • Perform other duties as they arise and are assigned

Your Skills and Experiences

    • Preferably 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or estimation
    • Solar experience is a plus but not required
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
    • Strong commitment to upholding and meeting deadlines
    • Commitment to personal learning, growth and development
    • Commitment to Encore’s values
