Clemens Feil is a growth equity investment professional at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the largest global development finance institution focused on the private sector in developing countries.
He has spent the majority of his 14-year private equity career investing in emerging markets and has led investments in India, Vietnam, Pakistan, Colombia, and more. Prior to joining IFC in 2020, he worked at Bain Capital, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), and Neuberger Berman.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Clemens consistently advocates for leveraging private equity to create positive social and environmental change in emerging markets. His perspectives on the topic have been featured in outlets such as Impact Entrepreneur, Impact Alpha, Harvard Business School cases, and the Clayton Christensen Institute.
Clemens has a BSc from the London School of Economics (LSE), an MA from Columbia University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
