Clarisse Awamengwi, an Impact Entrepreneur Correspondent, works at the forefront of financial innovation. Building on broad and deep global experience, she has laid the groundwork for emerging technologies to create a more equitable, inclusive and accessible economy across both advanced and emerging markets. She has been named to the Innovate Finance Women in Fintech Powerlist as a Standout 45 woman in fintech and rising star. She holds a Master’s degree in International Economy Policy from Sciences Po and Bachelor’s degrees in Foreign Affairs and Global Development Studies from the University of Virginia.
