About this Role

The Chief of Staff reports directly to the CEO and President of Generate Capital, holding a pivotal role in the organization. As a strategic powerhouse and force multiplier, this position commands significant influence, driving execution across the company’s most critical priorities and enhancing decision-making processes. Acting as an extension of the CEO and President, the Chief of Staff orchestrates cross-functional operations, leads strategic initiatives, and translates vision into tangible actions. In this high-stakes, fast-paced environment, the Chief of Staff collaborates closely with top leaders to streamline decision-making and foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence. This role offers a structured 24-36 month trajectory, culminating in the opportunity to transition into another meaningful role within Generate Capital.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and President, helping define and drive strategic priorities.
  • Partner with leadership to set and refine the company’s strategy and operational priorities.
  • Represent the CEO in key meetings, synthesizing insights and ensuring follow-through on critical decisions.
  • Lead executive preparation for board and investor engagements.
  • Amplify the voices of the CEO and President, shaping a compelling narrative.
  • Bridge the gap between executives and the broader organization for transparency.
  • Ensure company priorities are clearly defined with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive execution across teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Facilitate effective executive team meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, including at least 2+ years at a top strategy consulting firm.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Highly organized with a track record of translating strategy into action.
  • Industry experience in sustainable infrastructure, financial services, or relevant sectors.
  • High level of self-awareness, intellectual agility, and analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a comfort for risk.
