Content and Program Manager, Impact Investing Events

We strive to educate and inspire some of the largest institutional investor organisations with our annual global conferences and publications. We support both institutional investors as well as fund managers to make more impact with their capital.

To support our vision and growth path, Phenix Capital Group has a position opening for a Content & Programme Manager for our Amsterdam based office.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate must have passion for impact, knowledge of the Asset Management industry, strong strategic leadership and hands-on skills.  Ideally he/she will have a few years of experience as a journalist, writer or consultant in the financial industry.

The Content & Programme Manager will conduct in-depth market research to determine the most relevant speakers and topics, leverage its/her extensive network of contacts to recruit top speakers and take a lead role in driving attendance at the events.

As well as creating content for our monthly publications, event marketing materials and website.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Identify industry trends and develop conference programmes
•  Identify industry speakers and recruit them for the conference programmes
• Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programmes
• Implement content strategy for pre-, during and post-event communications and marketing materials
• Build a solid network with institutional investors and industry partners / strategic event partners
• Maintain relationships with sponsors about their speaking opportunities
• Ensure our event presence is on strategy and consistent, globally
• Conduct research and identify new event opportunities for the company
• Responsible for monthly “Faces of Impact” industry interviews

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for impact investing and must have an understanding of financial markets.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong project management skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•  Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Analytical skills: Ability to quickly sort through and identify relevant information
•  Experience with creating content (print, website, event programmes)
•  Knowledge of tools like Hubspot / Asana is a pre
• At least working proficiency level of English
•  Commitment to serving society’s needs – Ethical behavior and a high level of personal integrity
