Impact & Investment Analyst

We are looking for an Impact & Investment Analyst to join Pymwymic, a pioneering impact investor focused on sustainable food systems. For over 30 years, Pymwymic has invested in early- and growth-stage companies that drive regenerative solutions and systemic change in how we grow, produce, and consume food.

About the role

As an Impact & Investment Analyst, you will play a central role in strengthening Pymwymic’s impact and ESG capabilities while contributing to the investment process across our portfolio and new deals.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong impact mindset with analytical skills and entrepreneurial drive. You will work closely with both the impact and investment team.

Your responsibilities include:

Impact & ESG (~70%)

• Coordinating quarterly and annual impact reporting, including SFDR reporting
• Supporting impact & ESG due diligence processes for new investments
• Developing impact & ESG standards, frameworks, and tools
• Supporting portfolio companies in improving impact and ESG performance
• Contributing to external communications (e.g. impact case studies)

Investment team (~30%)

• Supporting pipeline development and the screening of new investment opportunities
• Supporting investment processes and deal execution
• Contributing to investment analysis across technical, commercial, and impact dimensions

You bring:

• 2–3 years of experience in sustainability consulting, impact investing or a related field
• Demonstrated passion for impact investing and regenerative food systems
• Strong analytical skills, including experience working with data & reporting, impact measurement is a plus
• Project management skills; experience with AI-driven workflows is a strong plus
• A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and drive
• Affinity with communications and storytelling; experience creating content for platforms such as LinkedIn is a plus
• Excellent written communication skills (fluency in English; Dutch is a plus)
• Level 5 leadership: strong professional will and with high degree of personal humility
• Based in the Netherlands
