About this Role

The Summer Associate will engage in high-impact projects supporting the Impact division of EIP. The role requires working closely with the team, fostering cross-functional collaboration between investment, LP engagement, and portfolio value creation efforts. This summer, the focus will be on refining internal processes and delivering valuable services to portfolio companies. The associate will actively support ESG and impact data infrastructure projects and hands-on portfolio engagement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic environment where sustainability and investment intersect. Through the duration of this internship, valuable insights into ESG strategy, data systems, and portfolio management will be gained, bolstered by mentorship from seasoned industry professionals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the consolidation and streamlining of internal ESG and impact data collection.
  • Contribute to service designs that enhance impact excellence for portfolio companies.
  • Engage in strategic projects across the Impact division.
  • Foster collaboration with the investment team and engage with portfolio companies.
  • Support key strategic projects with a focus on ESG and impact efforts.

 

Requirements

  • Highly organized self-starter with an operator’s mindset.
  • Interest or background in the sustainability and/or energy sectors.
  • Experience in project management and data analytics.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with PowerBI and Notion is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple workstreams.
