About UBS

UBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager. They operate through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank. UBS’s global reach and the breadth of their expertise set them apart from their competitors. UBS has a vast presence in all major financial centers across more than 50 countries. The firm is headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, and offers wealth management, asset management, and investment banking services to clients worldwide. UBS aims to provide comprehensive financial solutions to a client base that ranges from high net worth individuals and institutional investors to corporate clients. A commitment to sustainability and responsible investing is central to UBS’s strategic vision. As part of its effectual approach to wealth management, UBS seeks to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into its investment decisions.

About this Role

Are you someone who has a passion for financial markets and driving social and environmental change? Do you want to work closely with Ultra High Net Worth families to help them align their investment capital with their impact objectives? If so, we are looking for someone to join the UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office Sustainable and Impact Investing team in the US to develop the UBS House View on sustainable investing. Your role will involve producing original investment research across asset classes using qualitative and quantitative methods (using Excel or Python). You will work collaboratively with a global team of investment analysts to further integrate sustainability and generate new investment views and actionable ideas. Regular interaction with UBS Financial Advisors and family office and institutional clients will be required to communicate investment research and provide tailored views. Additionally, you will need to stay current on the latest developments in sustainable investing across ESG, data sub-topics, and sustainability-related regulation. Over time, it will be necessary to develop expertise in an area of sustainability while maintaining strong fluency across asset classes and subject matters. You will also manage strategic projects driving the adoption of sustainable and impact investing, being a self-starter, taking ownership of investment research projects, and turning ideas into opportunities to advance UBS’s goal of mainstreaming sustainable investing.
