Community Management Intern (Autumn 2024)

Impact Entrepreneur, a public benefit corporation, supports an international network of changemakers committed to creating a more just and sustainable world. Through our online magazine, webinar events, and social media groups, we make our community more knowledgeable about topics in social and environmental entrepreneurship and impact investing.

We’re looking for a part-time intern to assist us with our social media and digital communications work. The position begins September 2024.

As part of our team, you would help:

• Manage Impact Entrepreneur’s award-winning LinkedIn group and implement strategies to boost engagement
• Manage Impact Entrepreneur’s X/Twitter platform and implement strategies to boost engagement
• Create social media strategy for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook platforms
• Attend weekly team meetings to discuss progress and brainstorm ideas
• Write and edit content for our weekly newsletter
• Complete additional assignments, such as research for articles or upcoming IE events/conferences, monthly data updates for impact measurement tracking

What we’re looking for:

• Demonstrated interest in the “impact economy,” social and environmental entrepreneurship, impact investing, and/or topics in sustainability
• Fantastic time management and organizational skills
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience with social media content creation or social media strategy is a huge plus!

Location: This position is fully remote.

Compensation: This is a paid position. Interns will be compensated $20/hr.
