The fund’s mission is to bring positive and culturally appropriate advancement to established and emerging communities. JBMP is actively seeking experienced LPs and strategic partners to help shape and bring their vision to life by 2030. The fund focuses on balancing meaningful impact with financial returns.

Role Description

This is a full-time volunteer role for a Limited Partner at JBMP Social Impact Partners to be initially done remotely until an office is found in New York, NY. The Limited Partner will be responsible for managing investments, conducting due diligence, evaluating impact metrics, and working closely with portfolio companies. The role involves strategic decision-making and collaborating with the investment team.

Required Marks (ALL marks must be present to be considered; not having 1+ will cause there to be an automatic rejection)

• Completed a Bachelor’s Degree of any major
• minimum 2yrs of Quantitative Analytics experience
• minimum 5yrs of Due Diligence experience
• minimum 5yrs of Strategic Thinking experience
• You must be kind, compassionate, nonjudgmental, culturally-sensitive, & emotionally-regulated

Qualifications

• Experience in impact investing, financial analysis, and due diligence
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, especially essential Investment Banking Analyst training
• Ability to evaluate impact metrics and measure outcomes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
• Experience in social impact or ESG investing is a plus

Notes on Compensation

• As JBMP is solely at the idea stage, no compensation will be provided. The intention of this position is to help build up the fund, with the eventual transition to work with the fund at the time of its launch in 2030
