About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Finance Associate to join our growing Finance team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on critical initiatives at the intersection of finance, strategy, and renewable energy development. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping Fuse Energy’s financial strategy, supporting key corporate development projects, and driving long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Support: Assist in capital raising initiatives, including preparing investor presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials to raise equity and debt.
• Financial Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company’s financial health in a dynamic energy market.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A opportunities for renewable energy assets, including market research, financial analysis, and transaction execution support.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategic plans, analysing market trends and financial performance to support decision-making.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on financial KPIs, creating actionable insights to improve business performance.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other finance partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA, MBA) is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a strategic finance role.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
