Laura Rana is the founder of award-winning social enterprise Khushi Kantha (Happy Blanket), which she runs alongside her ‘day job’ helping organisations who inspire her to understand, measure and communicate their impacts, her ‘24/7’ job as a solo parent to four year-old twin daughters, and studying for a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership at Cambridge, funded by a bursary from Chanel.

Her professional background in the international development and humanitarian sectors, with organisations like Save the Children, the British Red Cross and War Child UK, has taken her to more than twenty countries – from Sierra Leone to Mongolia, and Iraq to Paraguay. Following 15+ years in the non-profit world, she is increasingly interested in exploring the transformational potential of sustainable finance and impact-driven business.
