London, UK – Catalyst 2030, the global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators collaborating to build the sector is holding its third annual Catalysing Change Week from 6 – 10 May 2024. The CCW 2024 plans to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, knowledgeable academics, government champions, changemakers, funders, and social innovators.

It will host over 100 action-oriented sessions, covering all global time zones. These sessions will tackle the challenges faced by the sector and embrace solutions that bridge gaps in policy behaviors and mindsets through innovation and collaborative actions. The week will build on the success of Catalysing Change Week 2023 which had an audience of over 6000 individuals from 108 countries.

The theme of CCW 2024 is “Building the Social Innovation Sector.” This theme highlights the sector’s potential to unite traditionally distinct sectors — private, public, and civil society — to collectively work towards a new, inclusive economy and systems transformation for all. By fostering an enabling ecosystem, the social innovation sector can drive stakeholder collaboration and create solutions that benefit everyone, including marginalised communities. The sessions will be structured around these three key areas.

• Policy: Our mission is to foster connections and facilitate stakeholder collaboration, creating an enabling environment for collective action. We aim to drive policy shifts that support the growth and transformation of the social innovation sector. Together, we can bridge gaps in policy behaviors and mindsets.
• Thought Leadership: Through our thought leadership sessions, we aim to challenge conventional wisdom, foster innovation, and inspire new approaches to building a thriving social innovation sector. We believe that thought leadership plays a vital role in shaping the sector’s trajectory and driving transformative change.
• Innovative Solutions: Through our dedicated focus on innovative solutions, we aim to bridge the gaps within the sector and address pressing challenges. CCW 2024 brings together social entrepreneurs, change-makers, and representatives from the private sector, governments, and civil society to collaborate on developing and implementing innovative solutions that have a lasting impact.

The overarching goal is to create an environment where collaboration, co-creation, and collective action thrive. By leveraging policy shifts, thought leadership, and innovative solutions, we aim to build a social innovation sector capable of addressing the world’s most pressing challenges, leaving no one behind, and creating a positive and lasting impact on communities worldwide.

Catalyst 2030 is a fast-growing, global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators from all sectors who share the common goal of creating innovative, people-centered, community-led approaches to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. Joining forces with communities, governments, businesses, and others, Catalyst 2030 members are changing systems at all levels through collective action and bold, new strategies.
