As MIE’s signature introductory learning program, the Mission Investing Institute is designed to help philanthropy professionals get started in impact investing or advance their practice. The Institute will take place from May 5-7, 2025, at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs in Atlanta. It will also include an introductory session taking place virtually on April 29 and an optional visit to an impact investment site in Atlanta on May 5. Institute sessions will provide philanthropy professionals with best practices to develop the strategy and capacity for an effective mission-aligned investing program. Participants should expect an action-oriented, interactive learning environment, with space to workshop organizational solutions, apply learnings, and network with fellow philanthropy and finance practitioners.
