He has spent the majority of his 14-year private equity career investing in emerging markets and has led investments in India, Vietnam, Pakistan, Colombia, and more. Prior to joining IFC in 2020, he worked at Bain Capital, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), and Neuberger Berman.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Clemens consistently advocates for leveraging private equity to create positive social and environmental change in emerging markets.
