Join him in New York for the launch, in conversation with Jeffrey Hollender and Sarah Holloway and moderated by Sara Minard: a wide-ranging evening on capital, enterprise design, legal structure, and what this economy asks of the people building it.

Author, Founder of Impact Entrepreneur PBC
Laurie Lane-Zucker is the founder and CEO of Impact Entrepreneur, PBC, a global multimedia publishing platform and network serving more than 70,000 members across 200-plus countries. He coined the term “impact entrepreneur” in 2011 and, working with the educator John Elder in the 1990s, co-developed and coined the term “place-based education.” He led The Orion Society for twelve years, working closely with Wendell Berry, Terry Tempest Williams, Barry Lopez and David James Duncan, and went on to found one of the earliest Certified B Corporations. He publishes Impact Entrepreneur Magazine and lives in Sheffield, Massachusetts.
Author, co-founder & former CEO of Seventh Generation
Jeffrey Hollender is the co-founder and former CEO of Seventh Generation, which he led from 1988 to 2010, and Adjunct Associate Professor in Business and Society at NYU Stern School of Business. He is the author of seven books on corporate responsibility and sustainability, most recently Built for a Better World: How Seventh Generation Pioneered a Movement That Changed the Purpose of Business, written with Geoff Davis. He endorsed The Impact Entrepreneur Breakthrough and is teaching from it at Stern this fall.
Director, Master of Public Administration program, Columbia SIPA
Sarah Holloway directs the Master of Public Administration program at Columbia SIPA, where she is Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of International and Public Affairs and co-directs the Technology, Policy, and Innovation concentration. She teaches social entrepreneurship, nonprofit financial management and design for social innovation, and leads the school’s Leadership, Innovation and Design specialization. She co-founded MOUSE, CSforALL and eLab, a fellowship for education entrepreneurs. She holds an MPA from SIPA and a BA from Bowdoin College.
Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs, Columbia SIPA
Sara Minard is Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs at Columbia SIPA and the Brandmeyer Fellow for Impact and Sustainable Investing, where she teaches an award-winning course on impact and sustainable investing and on impact measurement. A socio-economist with more than 25 years of experience with the World Bank, the OECD, regional governments and universities across West Africa, Appalachia and India, she is founder and CEO of Manarine LLC and serves on the editorial committee of Impact Entrepreneur. She holds a doctorate in economics from Sciences Po, where she studied under Amartya Sen.
