Construction Excellence Manager

Akuo is a French renewable energy producer (wind, solar, and storage).
The Group is present across the entire value chain: from development to operation, including financing and construction.
By the end of 2025, Akuo had a total capacity of 2.1 GW in operation and under construction, and a project portfolio of over 10 GW. With more than 450 employees, the Group, headquartered in Paris, develops projects in over fifteen countries worldwide, primarily in Europe and the Americas.

In a context of growth, transformation and industrialization, we wish to strengthen the operational excellence of our Construction division in order to sustainably improve the performance, predictability and quality of execution of our projects.

We are therefore creating a strategic position of Construction Excellence Manager , with the mission of structuring the standards, methods and tools that will support the growth in maturity of the Construction function across the Group.

Reporting to the Group Head of Construction , you will play a key role in structuring and continuously improving construction practices. You will work on high-stakes issues, support teams during the most critical phases of projects, and contribute to spreading a shared performance culture across all regions.

As a true cross-functional player, you will work closely with the Development, Engineering, Construction, Asset Management & Operations teams as well as with regional teams.

Occasional international travel as required by projects and Group priorities.

🎯 Your missions

Operational Excellence in Construction: Developing Group Standards

You define, develop and deploy Akuo’s Construction frameworks (processes, governance, methods, tools and standards) to ensure consistent, robust and efficient project execution across all regions.

Driving performance, governance, and project security:
You develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identify risks related to cost, schedule, quality, HSE, or contractual deviations to enable business management. You also ensure the implementation of associated action plans.

Furthermore, you support the teams during the most sensitive stages — particularly in pre-construction, commissioning, handover and project closure — in order to secure transitions and improve the quality of execution.

With a consolidated view of the Construction project portfolio, you produce the necessary analyses and recommendations for arbitration, decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

Capitalizing on knowledge and developing best practices

You transform the experience gained on projects into sustainable standards.

You structure feedback, develop capitalization tools and promote the sharing of best practices between projects, professions and regions in order to accelerate collective skills development.

Engaging the Construction community and supporting the transformation

You bring teams together around common practices, facilitate exchanges between different regions and support the transformation projects of the Construction Department.

Depending on the Group’s priorities, you may also be involved in supporting strategic or complex projects to provide your expertise, facilitate the resolution of critical issues and support operational teams.

Managing digitalization and data in the construction sector

You contribute to the digitalization of Construction processes by developing management tools, dashboards and indicators that allow for better visibility into the performance of the project portfolio.

Your journey

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 10 to 15 years minimum experience in the construction, energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
• Significant experience gained within several organizations, ideally with international mid-sized companies, allowing you to develop different approaches to project execution.
• Solid experience in international EPC projects.
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Experience in continuous improvement, organizational transformation or structuring of project management is a significant asset.
• PMP certification preferred.
