Ayadee Foundation Opens Six Fellowships in Its Architects of the Future Program

A selective, remote-first fellowship inviting emerging leaders to produce applied research at the intersection of technology, governance, and global impact.

The Ayadee Foundation today announced the opening of six fellowships within Architects of the Future, its selective program for emerging leaders working at the intersection of technology, governance, and global impact. Applications are open on a rolling basis, and the inaugural cohort begins in early August 2026.

The program answers a question that grows more pressing with every technological leap: what does it take to build systems that genuinely serve the people they are meant to help? Rather than treat that question as abstract, the fellowship places its participants inside the work of answering it. Fellows contribute directly to applied research, program development, and real advisory projects in AI governance and institutional transformation, with the ethos of a working think tank rather than a classroom.

Structured for professionals already building careers, the fellowship runs five months on a remote-first, part-time basis of roughly eight to twelve hours per week, with the possibility of travel to convene in person. Work spans four applied research tracks. In AI governance, fellows develop policy frameworks and risk mitigation approaches for frontier models. In strategic foresight, they build scenario models for emerging digital ecosystems. In the digital economy, they examine fintech policy and digital identity systems. In institutional design, they investigate how decentralized structures enable participatory oversight of new technology. Substantive contributions carry clear name attribution, and fellows who distinguish themselves may continue their engagement as Blue Shift Labs and the Foundation broaden their initiatives.

The Foundation is seeking candidates with strong analytical capability and a background in policy, entrepreneurship, or international development, united by a genuine commitment to putting technology in the service of people.

“The next decade of technology will be shaped by a relatively small number of people willing to ask harder questions and do the patient work of answering them,” said Peter Johnson, Chief Strategic Foresight Officer of the Ayadee Foundation and founder of Blue Shift Labs by Ayadee. “These fellowships exist to find those people early and to hand them real responsibility, not a seat on the sidelines.”

Selection is deliberate and curated. Shortlisted candidates will submit a portfolio of relevant work, whether writing, research, or completed projects, followed by a structured conversation exploring how they approach complex problems.
